Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a high-end setting.
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and the ability to speak and write in English fluently.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handler’s certificate or alcohol training certifications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and handle check-ins and seating.
• Answer phones and take reservations and in-room dining orders.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to optimize guest placements.
• Assist with preparation of station charts and guide servers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station.
• Monitor and update guest profiles and special requests.
• Ensure menus and wine lists are clean and well-stocked.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Familiarize yourself with hotel services and local attractions.
• Collaborate with Food and Beverage Management for a positive environment.
