Job summary

The Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Houston is seeking a Concierge to deliver luxury guest experiences at Texas' Forbes Five-Star hotel. You will assist guests with administrative tasks, create exceptional profiles, and coordinate with departments to exceed expectations.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of concierge experience, strong computer skills, familiarity with property management software, and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Five+ years concierge experience preferred.
• Les Clefs d’Or USA membership preferred.
• Hospitality or related field degree/certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows and office software.
• Previous hotel or Forbes experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with administrative duties such as printing, copies, faxing, scanning, directions, and boarding passes.
• Maintain an immaculately clean and luxurious work environment.
• Resolve guests' issues in a pleasant, empowered and prompt manner.
• Communicate with management and other departments to exceed guest expectations.
• Build guest profiles and promote hotel programs.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of The Post Oak and Houston areas.
• Provide consistent, professional service to maintain Forbes 5-Star rating.
