Job summary

Pendry Chicago is recruiting a Cocktail Server to engage guests, recommend cocktails, and provide a seamless, luxurious beverage experience. The role requires knowledge of spirits, wine, and food, with an emphasis on service excellence and upselling techniques.

You will work with a tight-knit team in a high-energy luxury setting, maintain cleanliness, adhere to liquor regulations, and deliver WOW moments for guests. Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations.
• Prior micros or other systems experience.
• Luxury hotel experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests, listen to their wants, and make cocktail recommendations based on their desires
• Guide guests through the menu with expert knowledge and skilled upselling techniques
• Consistently follow the food & beverage sequence of service with the utmost attention to detail
• Collaborate with bartenders and fellow associates in a positive and respectful manner
• Maintain the lounge area and table maintenance to address spills, debris, or other cleanliness issues
