Job summary

The Langham Chicago is seeking a skilled Bartender to deliver exceptional service in Travelle Bar and Restaurant. You will craft innovative beverages, contribute to beverage lists, and maintain Forbes and Langham standards in a high-volume luxury setting.

Responsibilities include bar setup, inventory, guest interaction, and collaboration with the outlet team. The role requires strong mixology skills, knowledge of Micros, and a professional, guest-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous bartender experience in a high-volume operation.
• Experience in upscale or luxury operation preferred.
• BASSETT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set up the bar in assigned sections with attention to details.
• Inspect linen, silver, china, glassware for cleanliness and appearance.
• Serve food, coffee, water and other beverages to guests as required.
• Resolve guest complaints in a positive and professional manner.
• Cooperate with outlet team including servers and kitchen staff.
• Communicate with Restaurant Management daily.
• Clean restaurant area during and after meals.
• Assist in month-end beverage inventory.
