Job summary

Hotel Bel-Air is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support luxury events and uphold the highest standards of service. You will set up and break down event spaces per the BEO, stock linen, china, silver, and other supplies, ensuring a flawless guest experience.

You will handle special layout requests, report any imperfections, and work with hotel teams across varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand safety rules, BEO operating and maintenance instructions.
• Excellent English communication and customer service.
• Attention to detail is critical for this role.
• Able to walk, stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down event spaces per the BEO, maintaining cleanliness and stocking linen, china, silver, and supplies.
• Fulfill guests' special layout or prop requests.
• Identify and report imperfections and collaborate with hotel teams to fix.
• Communicate with guests and team while maintaining safe, efficient service.
• Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, to support events.
