Job summary

Cheshire Public Schools seeks a Lunchroom/Playground Aide for Barnum Elementary School. The position runs Monday to Friday, 10:15 am to 1:15 pm (3 hours daily). You will monitor students during lunch and on the playground and assist the Food & Nutrition staff with the composting program. The role requires courteous interaction with students, staff, and the public, and adherence to building policies.

Description

3 Hours a Day/ 5 Days a Week. Monitor students during lunch and on the playground. Also, a key component is to work with the Food & Nutrition staff on the Composting Program.

Supervised By

School principal or their designee.

Qualifications

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed oral and/or written instructions; to relate to students, staff and the public in a courteous manner.

Salary

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $17.85/ hr
