Job summary

Cheshire Public Schools is seeking a paraeducator at Barnum Elementary School to support students during whole and small group instruction and work with individuals throughout the day. Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music).

Experience with young children is desirable and developmentally appropriate practices are expected. Reporting to the school principal, the paraeducator will assist with classroom activities and tasks as needed

Salary:

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $18.63 per hour.
