Cheshire Public Schools in Barnum, Minnesota, is seeking a paraeducator for Barnum Elementary School. The position is 28.75 hours per week, from 8:30 AM to 2:45 PM, and starts immediately.

The paraeducator will support students during whole and small group instruction, supervise lunch and recess, and accompany students to specials under the supervision of the classroom teacher. Experience working with young children and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices are desirable.

Description:

Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music). Experience working with young children is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable. Other tasks as needed to support classroom instruction under the supervision of the classroom teacher.

Qualifications: High School Diploma

Salary: In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides $18.63 per hour.
