Job summary

Cheshire High School is seeking a paraeducator to support students during whole and small group instruction and to assist with individual children throughout the day. Responsibilities include supervising lunch and recess and accompanying students to specials (art, music).

Experience with young children is necessary and an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices is desirable. The position involves supervision under the classroom teacher and additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Job Description

In accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and CSEA/SEIU Local 2001/760 in Behalf of the Cheshire Paraeducators and Lunchroom/Playground Aides. $18.63 per hour.
