Blue Origin LLC in Renton, WA seeks an engineer to lead the detailed hardware design and build of the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB) and HIL systems for MK1 SN102- SN104. You will produce CAD drawings, drive manufacturability, and ensure test beds are reliable, safe, and ready for flight-representative work.

Candidates should have a BS in mechanical, electrical or aerospace engineering with 2+ years in hardware design, experience with Creo, lab equipment, and configuration management.

Formación

• BS in mechanical, electrical, aerospace engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in hardware design, build, integration of complex electromechanical or avionics systems.
• Proficiency with Creo for mechanical design and configuration control.
• Experience with lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters).
• Solid understanding of configuration management principles.
• US citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S.; on-site at Renton, WA.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the detailed hardware design and build of VTB/HIL systems for MK1 SN102- SN104.
• Produce CAD models and drawings for test bed structures and mounting.
• Design for manufacturability and assembly for repeatable builds.
• Develop avionics emulators and ground support equipment for test beds.
• Maintain day-to-day health of the lab and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and technicians for fabrication and rework.
• Own configuration control of CAD drawings and harness documentation.
