Job summary

Blue Origin, a leader in space exploration, is seeking a Vehicle Requirements and Verification engineer. You will develop system-level requirements, manage interfaces, and plan verification campaigns for lunar vehicle programs in collaboration with NASA and national partners.

You will contribute to a safe, verifiable, and cost-effective vehicle design, applying engineering rigor and leadership to guide cross-functional teams through complex verification tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in using requirements and functional analysis to specify and verify complex systems.
• Experience with defining and managing interfaces and interface agreements.
• Knowledge of overall systems engineering process and technical budgets.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident or eligible to work in the U.S.
• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage system-level requirements and verification plans with NASA and team partners.
• Support lower-level requirements management including change control and audits.
• Define system interfaces and external interfaces across elements.
• Develop system-level verification plan and closure products.
• Track metrics and verification progress against plans.
• Lead and coach element teams with strong engineering judgment.
