Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Lunar Manufacturing Vehicle Manager to oversee integration, build, and delivery of a vehicle end item. You will translate master plans into actionable schedules, serve as SME on build sequence and risks, and align production readiness with engineering and support functions to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, vehicle integration, or production operations in aerospace/defense or similar.
• Experience developing and managing detailed production or integration schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and track a rolling 2-week tactical schedule for vehicle integration.
• Lead 2-week plan review meetings with stakeholders across operations.
• Track schedule variance and present status at leadership reviews.
• Serve as SME on build sequence, constraints, and risk; ensure optimal sequencing.
• Identify, mitigate, and escalate issues threatening on-time delivery; coordinate recovery.
• Coordinate with Shift Leaders for staffing, facilities, and tooling readiness.
• Optimize testing timing to protect the vehicle schedule and minimize downstream impact.
• Drive actions across engineering, production, and support to resolve conflicts.
