Job summary

Blue Origin in the United States is seeking a Lunar Manufacturing Vehicle Manager to oversee the integration, build, and delivery of an assigned vehicle end item in a high-mix/low-volume environment. You will translate the Master Production Schedule into actionable, work-centre level plans while guiding sequence, constraints, and risks to ensure mission readiness.

As SME, you will align engineering, operations, and support functions from Production Readiness Review through Pre-Ship Review,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering, integration, or production operations experience.
• Experience developing and managing detailed production or integration schedules.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proven ability to identify and drive resolution of risks in production.
• Strong cross-functional communication and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Develop and track a rolling 2-week tactical schedule for vehicle integration.
• Lead plan review meetings with stakeholders across operations.
• Track schedule variance and present status in leadership forums.
• Act as SME on build sequence, constraints, and schedule risk.
• Identify and elevate issues threatening on-time delivery; support recovery planning.
• Coordinate with shift leaders to ensure staffing and facilities for milestones.
• Optimize timing of testing activities to protect the schedule.
