Job summary

You will work on static and dynamic analyses, FE modeling with FEMAP/NASTRAN/Matlab, and collaborate across teams to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

  • Ability to solve static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based analytical methods.
  • Interpretation of ground and flight test data for structural validation.
  • Modeling and verification of spacecraft launch, in-space burns, and landing events.

Responsibilities

  • Solve static and dynamic structural problems using physics-based analytical methods.
  • Interpret acceleration, shock, and vibration data from tests.
  • Develop and validate finite element models; correlate to tests.
  • Develop general loads for spacecraft and ground systems.
  • Support configuration development and trade studies.
  • Utilize Femap, NASTRAN, and Matlab for analyses.
