Blue Origin in Seattle is searching for an experienced engineer to join the Lunar Core Components Pumps team. You will perform fluids analysis on Lunar vehicle components while providing design guidance to enhance pump designs for various applications.

The ideal candidate holds a master's in a related field and has extensive experience in thermal and fluid analysis. Join us in our mission to build systems that enable human life in space!

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in thermal and/or fluids analysis and mechanical component design.
• 5+ years of experience with classical hand calculations for thermal and/or fluids analysis.
• 3+ years of experience with Ansys CFX, Ansys Fluent, or other CFD analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Perform fluids analysis on Lunar vehicle components (pumps).
• Provide design recommendations to Responsible Engineers.
• Apply analysis tools to design and analyze primary flowpath performance.
