Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Test Engineer to join the Integration and Test team in the Lunar Permanence unit. You will lead the design of high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems, and develop test fixtures to support lunar habitat and lunar lander programs.

This role involves collaboration across engineering disciplines and travel up to 25% during surge periods. We value passion for our mission, strong background in fluids and piping, and experience with instrumentation and data

Qualifications

• BS in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of fluids, pneumatic, or cryogenic experience.
• Expertise in fluid analysis and piping design.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of high-pressure gas and cryogenic fluid systems.
• Design mechanical test fixtures and structural supports.
• Conduct HA ZOP for fluid systems.
• Manage suppliers on cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Prepare project plans with budget, schedule, and WBS.
• Coordinate with customers to refine scope and requirements.
• Mentor engineers and perform peer reviews.
