Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on Space Coast, FL is seeking a manufacturing engineering professional to design tooling, fixtures, and Ground Support Equipment for flight hardware. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop build processes, ensure manufacturability, and support production delivery.

Responsibilities include developing CAD models and drawings, defining tooling requirements, validating concepts, and documenting procedures to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, tooling design, or hardware development.
• Experience designing tooling, fixtures, or GSE for mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD, GD&T, tolerance analysis.
• Experience supporting production operations in regulated environments.
• Experience with issue-tracking tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and GSE for efficient manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop build processes and tooling concepts.
• Plan and support builds of engineering demonstrators and prototypes.
• Develop, release, and maintain engineering documentation.
• Support tooling fabrication, validation, and continuous improvement.
