Job summary

Blue Origin LLC on Space Coast, FL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer specializing in tooling and GSE design to enable rapid production of ground support hardware for lunar flight systems. You will work with design, manufacturing, quality, and operations to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions, supporting builds from prototypes to production.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, tooling design, or GSE in aerospace or regulated industry.
• Experience releasing tooling for production and working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, fixtures, and GSE for manufacturing and test of flight hardware.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and operations to develop new build processes.
• Support builds of engineering demonstrators and prototype hardware with hands-on assistance during fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Advance DFx, producibility assessments, and roadmaps to bridge manufacturing technology gaps.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation for tooling and production.
• Support tooling fabrication, validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
