Blue Origin is seeking an Industrial Engineer III for Lunar Manufacturing Operations. You will own production-system problems from start to finish and act as an IE consultant across design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to drive data-based decisions for safety, schedule, and cost.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of industrial engineering experience in manufacturing, aerospace or high-tech preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in multiple IE focus areas with demonstrated projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects from scoping to results.
• Hands-on with ERP/MRP/MES/PLM systems and production-tracking at enterprise level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-quality judgment.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and design production workflows to improve safety, efficiency and cost.
• Lead complex cross-functional improvement projects with major business impact and on-time delivery.
• Apply lean methods (8D, DMAIC, PDCA) to plan and run workshops and kaizens.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering to validate manufacturability.
• Conduct time studies and keep MES data current for build durations and labor needs.
• Perform capacity analysis for labor, equipment and facilities and translate plans into resources.
• Check data provenance, traceability, and flag gaps before building analyses.
• Develop and refine standard operating procedures and IE tools; senior review expected.
• Monitor build-health metrics and drive root-cause actions until fixed.
• Support risk assessments and ensure safety compliance and policy adherence.
• Capture and share lessons learned across teams and sites.
