Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Fluids Test Engineer within the Integration and Test team, supporting our mission to return humans to the Moon and beyond. You will develop test plans, lead test operations, and coordinate with design and systems engineers to verify vehicle fluid and thermal system requirements.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and 5+ years in fluids/pneumatic/cryogenic testing, with strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Passion for spaceflight and Blue Origin mission.
• BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of fluids, pneumatic, cryogenic, or similar experience.
• Understanding of P&ID’s, pressure systems, and GSE.
• Strong verbal, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans and procedures for vehicle level development and qualification testing.
• Lead daily test operations, test consoles, and coordinate with customers.
• Plan tests of vehicle fluid and thermal systems to verify requirements.
• Design, procure, install test support equipment; manage vendors.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and analyze test data for verification.
• Perform root cause analyses and safety improvements.
• Communicate transparently with customers on technical issues.
• Coordinate test crews and configurations; enforce safety policies.
