Collins is seeking a safety-conscious forklift operator to support lumber production at our Kentucky facility. You will operate a forklift to move units through planer, kiln, and drying stages, while keeping products organized by species and size.

On-site role requires adherence to all safety rules, PPE use, and readiness to pass pre-employment checks. This position offers steady full-time hours in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or lumber environment.
• Ability to follow safety rules and wear PPE.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move lumber products through production stages.
• Follow safety standards and report hazards.
• Assist with planer in-feed/out-feed and lumber storage.
• Support shipping crews with loading railcars and trailers.
• Load and unload kilns; label and organize lumber by species and grade.
• Perform routine equipment checks and keep work area clean.
