Job summary

Marvin's Ozark Lumber Yard is seeking a Part-Time Yard Associate to provide excellent customer service while handling merchandise, unloading or loading trucks, and assisting customers in our yard and warehouse. The role requires forklift operation, basic math, and strong safety practices.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and basic mathematics skills are required.
• Experience dealing with the public is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors and assist in yard/warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivering merchandise to homes or job sites.
• Load materials into customers' vehicles or company trucks.
• Build loads and prepare materials for delivery.
• Unloading incoming freight and maintaining a clean yard/warehouse.
• Assist cashiers and contractor sales counter as needed.
