Job summary

Marvin's Arab in Arab, AL is seeking a part-time Lumber Yard Associate. You will handle customer service, load and unload merchandise, and assist with deliveries using company equipment.

Responsibilities include maintaining inventory, stocking the yard, and ensuring safety and accuracy in loading. Prior forklift experience and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are preferred. This is an on-site, hourly position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required; able to operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment.
• Experience dealing with the public and basic math skills are essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; strong safety awareness in yard work.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist contractors in the yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist delivery drivers and load materials into vehicles.
• Verify item type and quantity per POS records and prepare loads for delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of yard and warehouse areas.
• Support cashiers and contractor sales as needed.
