Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and guide customers in the lumber yard.
• Load merchandise onto store delivery trucks for delivery or transfer.
• Assist with unloading deliveries as necessary.
• Remove lumber from units and rack by grade and length.
• Follow work orders or instructions to move and load materials.
• Assist customers with loading purchased merchandise and maintain yard appearance.
• Operate forklift or industrial truck to move merchandise and materials.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and follow safety, loss prevention and inventory procedures.
