Responsibilities

• Answer questions and direct customers to building materials.
• Load merchandise onto store delivery trucks.
• Assist with unloading deliveries as necessary.
• Move lumber to racks based on grade and length.
• Read work orders and determine items to move.
• Assist customers with loading purchased merchandise.
• Maintain yard and racks in orderly condition.
• Operate forklift to move merchandise.
• Complete daily forklift inspections.
• Adhere to loss prevention and inventory procedures.
• Maintain safety awareness.
• Communicate customer issues to staff.
• Additional duties as assigned.
