Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating materials in the lumber yard.
• Load merchandise onto store delivery trucks for delivery or transfer.
• Assist with unloading deliveries as needed.
• Move lumber to rack according to grade and length.
• Read work orders or invoices to determine materials to move and/or load.
• Assist customers with loading purchased merchandise.
• Maintain yard and racks in an orderly, clean condition.
• Operate forklift or industrial truck to load or move merchandise.
• Complete daily forklift inspections.
• Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control, and compliance procedures.
• Maintain safety awareness for hazards to employees or customers.
• Effectively communicate customer issues to staff.
• Additional duties as assigned.
