Job summary

Ritter Lumber is seeking a Will Call Loader in its Operations team. The role supports customer fulfillment and inventory accuracy by handling will-call orders, cashiering, loading, and basic lumber cutting. The will-call process requires safety, accuracy, and strong teamwork, reporting to the Inventory Manager.

You will engage with customers at pickup, operate forklifts and cutting tools, and help maintain an organized yard and accurate stock levels. This is a full-time on-site position in Texas.

Qualifications

• Experience in cashiering, warehouse operations or customer service.
• Familiarity with lumber and building materials is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors safely.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers during pickups and fulfill will-call orders accurately.
• Process payments and balance cash drawer per procedures.
• Safely load materials into vehicles and assist with deliveries.
• Cut lumber to specified dimensions using appropriate tools.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Tag products, monitor stock, and report discrepancies to Inventory Manager.
• Maintain clean, organized, hazard-free yard and support safety compliance.
• Execute will-call procedures and document inventory activities.
