Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and understand needs with an established customer base.
• Prospect and call on potential new customers to grow business across all regions and segments, including retail, construction, packaging and wholesale.
• Collaborate with sawmill staff to sell upcoming production.
• Implement sales strategies that maximize margins.
• Maintain consistent understanding of changing market conditions.
• Field incoming inquiries regarding availability and pricing of lumber.
• Attend customer meetings and trade shows.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop sales initiatives to expand account growth.
