Job summary

Bienville Lumber Company, LLC in Ruston, Louisiana is seeking a motivated Lumber Sales Representative to join our growing team. The role focuses on serving customers with product knowledge, pricing information, and responsive service while building long-term partnerships.

You will develop relationships, generate sales through outbound calls and events, manage records, and support sales and billing activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience preferred; lumber/building materials or forest products experience a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for customer visits, travel, or trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate sales through outbound calls, networking, prospecting, and lead generation activities.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and specifications.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, requests, feedback, and sales opportunities.
• Coordinate and schedule customer meetings, sales calls, and other business development activities.
• Monitor market conditions and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer visits as needed.
• Travel up to 30%.
