Responsibilities

• Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Handling customer phone orders or custom requests with courtesy and professionalism.
• Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information.
• Greet customers when entering or leaving department and provide answers to inquiries regarding Lumber/Warehouse materials.
• Engages and maintains a professional working relationship with vendors.
• Fulfills orders based on customer requests, including cutting items and assisting loading.
• Maintains the Lumber/Warehouse area and safety; cleans the warehouse.
• Assists in maintaining truck fleet and forklifts; restocking of supplies and fueling vehicles.
• Assists receiving department when materials need to be unloaded.
• Assists loading outgoing materials on delivery trucks.
• Delivers lumber and materials to job sites or residential project sites.
• Receives incoming calls to Lumber Department/Warehouse.
• Report mechanical problems with equipment via Work Order Forms.
