Gillman Home Center in Eaton, Ohio is seeking a Lumber Counter Sales Specialist to assist customers and contractors with project needs. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, with open availability Monday through Sunday.

Store hours are 7am–8pm. You will provide excellent service, become educated in the product lines, handle take-offs, estimates, orders, invoicing, and coordinate deliveries and installations while maintaining a safe, courteous store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in building materials/ construction industry preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and contractors with project needs and provide solutions.
• Process orders, quotes, and invoices; manage deliveries and installations.
• Maintain product knowledge and educate customers on product lines and industry trends.
• Open and close store; ensure a safe working environment and adherence to policies.
