Gillman Home Center in Eaton, OH seeks a CDL Driver/Lumber Yard Associate to transport lumber and materials, assist customers, and support yard operations. The role requires a Class B CDL endorsement, a valid DOT card, and a willingness to operate trucks and forklifts.

The position is full-time, on-site, with 40 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm. Safety and customer focus are emphasized in daily duties and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license; Class B CDL Endorsement required.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lumber and building materials preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to customers.
• Assist customers loading and unloading lumber and building materials, and load deliveries as needed.
• Operate trucks and other equipment and deliver materials to homes and job sites.
• Plan routes to ensure economical use of time and equipment.
• Maintain safety and security standards; report hazards to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support other departments as needed.
