Job summary

Amentum is seeking a LUH72 Aircraft Mechanic III/Lead in New York to maintain, repair, and modify LUH72 structures, engines, and components. You will apply airframe and powerplant knowledge, supervise technicians, and ensure logs and procedures are followed.

Requirements include an up-to-date A&P license, 5 years aviation maintenance, 5 years rotary wing experience, 2 years on LUH72, US citizenship, and owning your tools. May work in hangar or outside and lead complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Valid up-to-date A&P license.
• Five years aviation maintenance experience.
• Five years rotary wing aircraft experience.
• Two years on LUH72 (MDS).
• US Citizenship required.
• Own shadowed/etched tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all aircraft assigned.
• Plan, conduct and supervise aircraft technical inspections.
• Lead teams through complex aircraft tasks.
• Prepare evaluations and records pertaining to maintenance.
