Job summary

Amentum is seeking an LUH72 Aircraft Mechanic I - NON A&P to troubleshoot and repair systems on the LUH-72 helicopter. You will work on structures, engines, and subsystems, following manuals and data to determine repair methods.

Responsibilities include inspections, replacing worn parts, and maintaining clear maintenance records. Candidates should have prior aviation experience and be prepared to obtain A&P certification before starting.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain A&P Certification before starting.
• Three years aviation maintenance experience; two years rotary wing with LUH-72 experience.
• US Citizenship required for facility credentials/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions in LUH-72 aircraft systems and components.
• Repair and replace aircraft structures and functional components as needed.
• Read manuals, service bulletins, and engineering data to determine repair methods.
• Perform 100-hour and other inspections; inspect engines and related subsystems.
• Maintain maintenance records and document work performed.
