Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an Account Manager to lead sales efforts in the assigned territory with a consultative approach and regular customer contact. You’ll identify opportunities, manage proposals, and coordinate with the Sales Manager to maximize gross profit while upholding our core values.

The role covers customer development, new business generation, and administrative tasks using the local CRM system, with emphasis on growth and market insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical distribution sales (3–5 years).
• Post-secondary education in Business or Science.
• Willingness to conduct frequent customer visits and negotiate proposals.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for cross- and range-selling to existing customers and new leads.
• Set growth strategies and manage price data in CRM and reporting systems.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
