Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and inspections while assisting with parts pickup and shop upkeep. The role includes operating a company vehicle and adhering to safety guidelines as part of a busy Midwest service shop.

Moderate manual work, standing up to eight hours, and readiness to work five days including Saturdays are required. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Notes obvious repairs or safety concerns and documents vehicle condition per procedures.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and follows safety procedures at all times.
