Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician in Missouri to perform oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing, alignments and basic services. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean along with documentation of vehicle condition.

Qualified candidates have a valid driver’s license, are at least 18, and can work five days including Saturdays. Benefits include tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Possess valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• A general understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Notes any obvious repairs or safety concerns and documents them.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns.
