Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in the United States is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire mounting, wheel balancing and related services while assisting with parts pickup and keeping the shop clean. You will also drive customers and help ensure vehicle safety and quality checks.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to work five days including Saturdays, and a basic understanding of automotive mechanics.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their location using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, tires, and supplies from vendors and the office using the company vehicle.
• Operates the company vehicle safely and courteously following all laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections as required.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by supervision.
• Notes vehicle condition and reports safety concerns using the inspection/repair order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness in all areas including showroom and lot.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns promptly.
