Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Missouri is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician. You will perform oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and other basic tasks, while driving customers and picking up parts as needed. Maintain cleanliness of the shop and document vehicle conditions.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, being at least 18, and availability to work five days including Saturdays. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and documents vehicle condition via inspections/repair orders.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
