Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a Lube and Tire Technician to perform oil changes, tire services, alignments, and related tasks. The role includes driving customers when needed, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean.

Compensation ranges from $16 to $19 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, and paid time off. Qualifications require a valid driverers license and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driverficense.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a minimum of five days, including Saturdays.
• General understanding of automotive mechanics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles in an ethical manner following all guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
