Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change in Spring Lake, NC is hiring a Lube Technician to join our quick-service team. You’ll help customers choose oil types, perform oil changes, and keep cars moving with a friendly, safe approach.

No prior experience required—we train. You’ll work in a fast-paced, stay-in-your-car environment, weather permitting, and enjoy benefits like paid time off and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must gain strong knowledge of our oils and services.
• Must maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit.
• Walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures.
• Able to communicate with the public and customers.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter, grease chassis fittings.
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services.
• Deliver excellent customer service both verbally and written.
• Process payment for services performed.
• Perform coolant exchanges and fill services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
