Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Tulsa is looking for Lube Technicians to join our team across South Pointe Honda, South Pointe Chevrolet, South Pointe Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and BMW of Tulsa. You will learn automotive maintenance, inspections, and repair in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids).
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services including: oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and filter replacements while meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Complete comprehensive digital multi-point inspections to identify maintenance needs and help ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance.
• Inspect critical vehicle components including tires, brakes, batteries, filters, fluids, suspension components, and other key systems.
• Create photo and video inspection reports that provide customers with a transparent view of their vehicle's condition and recommended services.
• Accurately document inspection findings, maintenance recommendations, and completed services using dealership technology and digital reporting tools.
• Handle customer vehicles with care and professionalism while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment that supports productivity and teamwork.
• Follow all company safety policies, manufacturer guidelines, and service department procedures.
• Promptly report damaged tools, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a customer-first mindset while supporting dealership goals and company values.
