Group 1 Automotive is hiring Lube Technicians at our Edmond, OK dealerships. You’ll perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations, and gain hands-on experience on a variety of vehicles while learning from veteran technicians.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids).
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services (oil/filters, tire rotations, fluid checks).
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid exchanges, filter replacements, tire rotations.
• Conduct multi-point inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Inspect tires, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses, and fluids.
• Document findings and completed work using dealership tools.
• Communicate vehicle conditions to Service Advisors.
• Road-test vehicles to verify service quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and care for tools.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training to advance within service.
• Demonstrate professionalism and customer-first attitude.
