Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. seeks a Lube Technician at our Shawnee Mission dealerships, including Shawnee Mission Kia and BMW/MINI of Shawnee Mission in Kansas. You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and document findings while learning advanced vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and components.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools is preferred.
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Complete multi-point vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Conduct digital inspections with photo/video documentation for customers.
• Document inspection findings and service results accurately using dealership systems.
• Work with experienced technicians to develop technical skills on modern vehicle systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and proper tool care.
• Safely operate vehicles and equipment following manufacturer guidelines and standards.
• Adhere to all safety policies and environmental regulations; report issues promptly.
• Deliver exceptional service by supporting dealership goals with professionalism.
• Contribute to a positive, customer-first service environment.
