Lithia Ford of Klamath Falls is hiring a Ford Certified Technician to join our high‑performing service department. You’ll work on a steady flow of repair orders and apply your Ford certifications and diagnostic skills to accurate repairs.

The role requires Ford Certification and prior Ford technician experience, plus strong mechanical/electrical and computing abilities. You’ll follow safety standards, road‑test vehicles, document work, and maintain tools while enjoying competitive pay and

Qualifications

• Ford Certification required.
• Prior experience as a Ford Technician required.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong mechanical, electrical skills, and computing skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and punctuality.
• Comfortable using technology and quick to learn new systems.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanics tools required for the work.

Pay: $45.00 per flat rate hour and up depending on certifications and experience. Relocation assistance available to qualified applicants. Schedule: Monday - Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair order and document test procedures/results.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools to include screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels and punches, and other tools needed to perform the work for which the technician is trained and not normally inventoried by the service department as "special tools".
