Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a Terminal Manager to oversee dock operations and lead a team of drivers and dock workers. You will manage loading/unloading, staffing, and ensure safety standards are met while driving KPI performance across shifts.

The ideal candidate has prior LTL management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a high aptitude for technology. A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior LTL management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Desire to provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to work 50 hours per week on average.
• High aptitude for technology.

Responsibilities

• Oversee dock operations at the terminal.
• Manage loading/unloading freight and forklift traffic.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain terminal staff.
• Provide leadership to drivers and dock workers.
• Monitor dock production to meet KPI goals.
• Maintain a safe work environment per DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure operational model compliance across shifts.
• Support a culture of excellence in product quality.
