Job summary

Central Transport LLC, a leading North American LTL carrier, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee outbound terminal activities in Santa Fe Springs. You will guide dock staff and up to 30 local drivers, ensuring on-time loads while enforcing safety and process discipline.

The ideal candidate brings transportation or cross-docking experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, with a solid tech aptitude to

Qualifications

Experience in transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving.
Familiar with customs and cross-border transportation.
Strong leadership qualities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Oversee outbound operations for a section of the terminal dock.
Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to meet production schedule.
Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring cube and weight.
Maintain a safe work environment compliant with DOT/OSHA standards.
Support a culture of excellence in quality of product for customers.
