Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead outbound dock operations in Dayton, OH. You will manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock staff, coordinate loads, and ensure safety and productivity targets are met daily.

The ideal candidate has prior management and LTL trucking experience, strong leadership, and the ability to mentor staff while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team, preferably in transportation operations.
• Strong knowledge of the LTL trucking industry.
• Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Willingness to work 50 hours/week and various shifts.
• Strong written, listening and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound operations for your section of the terminal dock.
• Manage up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel.
• Monitor dock production and KPI performance targets.
• Ensure safety and DOT/OSHA compliance at all times.
• Coordinate loads based on labor and freight levels.
