Job summary

Central Transport LLC is seeking a night-shift supervisor to lead the Cincinnati terminal dock operations. You will oversee loading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight sorting to ensure on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates have prior management experience in LTL trucking, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coach and mentor a diverse team while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in transportation operations is required.
• Strong leadership and the ability to coach, mentor, and train staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-time operations of Cincinnati terminal's dock.
• Manage loading, forklift traffic, and palletized freight sorting.
• Ensure proper load of carriers by monitoring cube and weight.
• Provide leadership to drivers, dock workers, and dock hands.
• Monitor dock production and achieve KPI goals.
• Monitor hours and overtime; maintain safety per DOT/OSHA standards.
• Ensure operational model compliance and support service excellence.
