Job summary

FLS Transportation is seeking a highly organized LTL Operations Coordinator to manage day-to-day LTL shipments from quote to delivery and ensure exceptional customer service. You will quote rates, book shipments, and coordinate pickups with carrier partners in a fast-paced transportation environment.

The role requires 2+ years in LTL or related logistics, proficiency with TMS and Excel, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to support profitable operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in LTL transportation, freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of LTL carrier networks, rating structures, and service offerings.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and freight platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily LTL shipment activities from order receipt through delivery.
• Prepare and provide accurate and competitive customer rate quotes.
• Book and dispatch LTL shipments with approved carrier partners.
• Coordinate pickups, deliveries, appointment scheduling, and special service requirements.
• Ensure shipment information is entered accurately into transportation management systems (TMS).
• Monitor shipments, track and trace, and communicate updates to customers.
